Si totusi, zvonurile se confirma, Google ataca zona sistemelor de operare, as spune ca au de munca 🙂
E poate cea mai mare provocare pe care Google o are dupa ce a reusit sa impuna motorul de cautare.
De remarcat din comunicatul oficial cateva aspecte:

• Sistemul va fi open-source, si orientat pe netbook-uri pe moment. Functie de succesul pe care-l va avea, in mod cert Google va incerca sa-l aduca si pe alte platforme
• Chrome OS nu este Android. Cele doua proiecte se vor dezvolta separat.
• Fara comentarii: “Google Chrome running within a new windowing system on top of a Linux kernel. For application developers, the web is the platform. All web-based applications will automatically work and new applications can be written using your favorite web technologies. And of course, these apps will run not only on Google Chrome OS, but on any standards-based browser on Windows, Mac and Linux thereby giving developers the largest user base of any platform.”.
  Cine imi spunea ca programarea web e o gluma fata de programarea “desktop” 🙂 ?
